America's Stadium Set to Celebrate 99th Birthday with Centennial on the Horizon

Oct 06, 2021

The Rose Bowl Stadium announced today its plan to celebrate its 99th birthday and kick-off its Centennial Celebration with the local Pasadena and surrounding area community on Thursday, October 28th. The venue, which first opened its doors in 1922, will welcome guests back inside for a one-night celebration offering complimentary Rose Bowl Stadium historic tours, complimentary soft drinks and popcorn, a screening of “Remember the Titans” on the venue’s videoboard from famed Rose Bowl seats and leave with a limited edition collectors centennial pin.

This event is just the beginning of the year-long-celebration headed to America’s Stadium slated to officially begin in January 2022. The Rose Bowl Stadium, best known for hosting the annual Rose Bowl Game®, UCLA Bruins Football, iconic concerts and music festivals, will turn 100 next year.

“We have been working towards our Centennial Celebration for a few years now, and to think of reaching such an incredible milestone, that many never reach, is incredible,” said CEO / General Manager Darryl Dunn. “We wouldn’t be here without the support of our tenants, partners, clients and the local Pasadena community so we look forward to celebrating this milestone together.”

Family and friends will delight in experiencing the Rose Bowl’s Premium Seats in the Terry Donahue
Pavilion while overlooking the Rose Bowl Stadium field, to watch a ©Disney classic on the videoboard
beginning at 7:30 PM. This is an event that you won’t want to miss, so register on Eventbrite, today.
Spaces are limited and seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
