Rose Bowl Institute To Host Annual Women’s Empowerment Networking Luncheon

Mar 08, 2024

The event provides an opportunity for students to network with female industry leaders

through inspirational and empowering programming.

PASADENA, CA (March 8, 2024) – The Rose Bowl Institute will host its 3rd Annual Women’s Empowerment Networking Luncheon on April 24th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on the Spieker Field at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The luncheon is a free event that provides women and men in high school and college the opportunity to connect with female business leaders from various industries including sports, media, aviation, and more.

The third annual luncheon will feature Olympic gymnast and UCLA student-athlete, Brooklyn Moors. “I am honored to have the opportunity to connect with other young men and women through the Rose Bowl Institute’s programming,” said Brooklyn Moors. “Giving students like me a platform to learn from female leaders across a variety of industries supports both personal and professional development and inspires confidence and leadership as we move forward in our own education and careers.”

In addition to the networking luncheon, the annual Women’s Empowerment Symposium will continue its three-day virtual program in the Fall. The Symposium is designed for high school juniors, seniors, and college students to learn from female business leaders, athletes, and local and national education leaders under the inspirational brand of the Rose Bowl Stadium.

“The goal of our program is to introduce students to a diverse array of educational and career opportunities, fostering confidence as they progress in their personal journeys,” said Lauren Hall, Programs Director for the Rose Bowl Institute. “Our aim is to inspire and empower the next generation, equipping them with leadership, ethics, confidence, and character-driven skills essential for their future success.”

Since its launch in August 2020, the Rose Bowl Institute has continued to educate and inspire both at-risk youth and underserved communities in Southern California and around the nation. The Institute continues teaching independent skills based on its values – ethics, teamwork, sportsmanship, equality, and so much more – to ensure our viewers are exposed to free donor-funded programming that can benefit their growth as contributing members of society.
