Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does. It speaks to youth in a language they understand. Sport can create hope where once there was only despair.
OUR PROGRAMS

The Rose Bowl Institute will host a series of dialogues to address issues of race and sports to inspire Americans to learn, grow and educate one another on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion.
It’s easy to celebrate the glories of sporting success, but equally important to understand team dynamics in winning and losing, and the greater role sports values play in our national culture and global community.
Throughout the year the Rose Bowl Institute will convene intimate roundtable dialogues of 20-25 leaders around a unique Rose Table within the gorgeous Rose Bowl “1922” Locker Room. These moderated dialogues will define critical issues relating to sports values and recommend creative yet practical solutions.
The three-day annual Women’s Empowerment Symposium at the Rose Bowl Institute helps develop strong female and male leaders among high school juniors and seniors and college students.
Within the gorgeous 1922 Locker Room Museum at the Rose Bowl, The Rose Institute will host a series of dialogues to address issues of race and sports to inspire Americans to learn, grow and educate one another on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion.
To achieve the goal of encouraging young people to vote, the Institute is engaging athletes and leaders to voice their encouragements.The Institute’s pillars are Sportsmanship, Leadership and Citizenship. It brings sports values such as integrity, fair play, respect for the opponent and teamwork to the civic sphere, in this case by encouraging everyone of voting age, regardless of background, demographic, or political persuasion, to vote. The Institute has a particular focus on American youth.
