In the fall of 2025, we proudly hosted our 7th Annual Women’s Empowerment Symposium, a three-day virtual event continuing our commitment to celebrating women who lead with confidence, character, and purpose.
This year’s Symposium featured an extraordinary lineup including soccer legends Abby Wambach and Julie Foudy, Olympic gold medalist and coach Pamela McGee, entrepreneur and actress Gloria Govan, and emerging leaders such as Dr. Lauren Beasley, Aerial Powers, and Justus Perry, among others. Through impactful discussions and interactive networking sessions, participants explored themes of leadership,, sportsmanship, and citizenship.
While the Symposium centers on empowering women, it also emphasizes the importance of including men in this vital program. By learning from and supporting one another, we can create lasting, meaningful change. Guided by the Rose Bowl Institute’s core values of sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship, the Symposium continues to inspire the next generation of leaders on and off the field.
