Communications made through the Rose Bowl Institute's Web site shall in no way be deemed to constitute legal or official notice to the Rose Bowl Institute (“RBI”) or to the City of Pasadena (“City”), its agencies, officers, employees, representatives, or agents with respect to any existing, pending, or future claim or cause of action against the RBI or City or any of its agencies, officers, employees, representatives, or agents where notice is required by federal, state, or local law. No communication to the RBI made through this Web site shall be deemed to constitute legal or official notice for any purpose.
Materials and information on the Rose Bowl Institute's Web site are provided as a public service and intended to afford general guidelines on matters of public interest. Accordingly, the information in this site is not intended to serve as legal, accounting or tax advice. The materials and information on this site may not be "mirrored" on another server without the written permission of the RBI.
Website Availability
The RBI strives to achieve reasonably uninterrupted operation of its website and online applications. However, from time to time, operation of the website and online applications may be interrupted by scheduled maintenance such as software updates. The RBI does not warrant the availability of this website or its online applications, and disclaims all liability in respect to loss or damage incurred by a user that results, directly or indirectly, from loss of service, malfunction, or failure of the website or any online application, or any other cause connected with your use of the website or an online application.
The RBI website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers, including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Design and functionality may be lost or altered with older browsers or when stylesheets (CSS) or JavaScript are disabled.
Prohibitions
Attempts to upload information or change information on the Rose Bowl Institute Web site are strictly prohibited unless specifically authorized in writing by the RBI. This prohibition does not apply to a user's submission of information via an on-line form created by the RBI/City for that purpose.
Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any principles of conflict of laws. You agree that any action at law or equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in the state or federal court located in Pasadena, California and you hereby consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such court for the purposes of litigating any such action. If any of these terms or provisions shall be deemed unlawful, void, or any reason unenforceable, then that term or provision shall be deemed severable from the remaining terms and provisions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms and provisions. This is the entire agreement relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing and signed by all authorized parties.
Restrictions on use of Materials
This site is operated and maintained by RBI Staff. Except as provided herein, no material or information from this site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed except as authorized in this notice, expressly authorized within this site, or approved in writing by the RBI.
Copyright Notice
If a copyright is indicated on a photo, graphic, or any other material, permission to copy these materials must be obtained from the original source.
Using or modifying this site's materials and information for commercial or profit making purposes is prohibited and may violate the copyrights and/or other proprietary rights of the RBI or third parties.
The RBI respects the intellectual property of others and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide the RBI’s Designated Agent the following information:

Trademark
RBI’s trademarks, service marks, identification and artwork including, without limitation, its rights in the “Rose Bowl” mark and the Rose Bowl marquee design (collectively, the “City Trademarks”) shall be and remain the property of RBI and its affiliates. Any and all rights under trademark or copyright law in the City Trademarks or other property rights therein or use thereof shall inure to the benefit of and be the exclusive property of RBI. No person or entity shall have any right to use the City Trademarks or other identification of RBI or its affiliates without RBI’s prior written consent. The RBI has used and presently is using the City Trademarks in connection with the Rose Bowl Institute and a variety of services provided by RBI or City and that the Tournament of Roses Association has used and presently is using the trademarks ROSE BOWL, THE ROSE BOWL, ROSE BOWL GAME, among others, on or in connection with the events of the Tournament of Roses and a variety of products and services offered by and through the Tournament of Roses Association. Unless City otherwise agrees in writing, no person or entity shall use or license the trademarks, ROSE BOWL, THE ROSE BOWL, ROSE BOWL GAME or the ROSE DESIGN, as it appears on the Stadium marquee, in connection with any goods or services including without limitation any merchandise or promotional material which is likely to create the impression that the Rose Bowl, the City of Pasadena, or the Tournament of Roses Association is affiliated with, has sponsored or has approved any team, activity, event, commercial product, service, advertiser or sponsor. No person shall have the right to use the name, trademarks, service marks, identification or artwork of any Rose Bowl Institute event sponsor without the prior written consent of said sponsor.
Third Party Materials
Some materials and information used on the Rose Bowl Institute's Web site were generated by third parties who have consented to the RBI's use or placement of such materials on this site. These materials are owned by those parties. Use of these third party materials for any purpose is prohibited. Persons seeking to use or modify third party materials for any purpose should contact the owner of such materials directly. These materials include icons and graphics used in links to other organizations' sites, as well as various items of general content.
