What is The RBI

The Rose Bowl Institute champions sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship. Through educational programs, focused dialogues, and awards, the Institute leverages the power of sports to unite people everywhere.

OVERVIEW

More than any other venue, The Rose Bowl Stadium is associated in the American imagination with the highest qualities in sports competition, sportsmanship, leadership and healthy entertainment.

It is therefore fitting that this venue would serve as the home of a classical “Hellenic” program for the development of a well-balanced individual and a healthy community. The Rose Bowl Institute, which combines the iconic Rose Bowl venue with the convening of sports and civic leadership, is the logical forum for public discussion and promotion of sports values, civic virtues, and the betterment of society.

Our Programs

Women's Empowerment

The three-day annual Women’s Empowerment Symposium at the Rose Bowl Institute helps develop strong female and male leaders among high school juniors and seniors and college students.

Athletes in Schools

The Rose Bowl Institute champions sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship. Through educational programs, engaging discussions, and recognition awards, the Institute harnesses the power of sports to unite people around positive values and bridge civic differences.

Rose Table Dialogues

We host 20-25 leaders around the DeWitt Family Rose Table within the Rose Bowl’s gorgeous Charles E. Young Locker Room. These moderated dialogues will define critical issues relating to sports values and recommend creative yet practical solutions.

Scholarships

College scholarships are forms of aid that help students pay for their education. We are thrilled to be able to provide scholarship opportunities to students.

Voices 4 Voting

We know that athletes and leaders have a unique ability to engage and motivate, and we’re harnessing that power to elevate youth voices across the nation.

A Thousand for $1000

We're inviting a thousand individuals to donate $1000, accompanying their contributions with their personal stories and memories. This isn't just about funds; it's about creating a community of shared stories and shared support.
